Abstract:Objective To summarize the clinical features and study correlated risk factors of neonatal hypoglycemia. Methods Totally 192 definite cases of neonatal hypoglycemia were studied and summarized, and these pediatric patients were divided into the case group (36 cases) and the control group (156 cases) according to whether or not with brain injury. Correlated influencing factors were collected, and the higher risk factors were screened through single factors and multiple factors methods. Results The incidence rate of neonatal hypoglycemia brain injury was up to 18.8% (36/192). Multiple factors Logistic regression analysis result showed that the factors of gestational diabetes (OR=3.040), neonatal convulsions (OR=5.982), infection of newborn (OR=4.963), blood sugar level (OR=8.529) and persistence time of hypoglycemia (OR=5.200) were the risk factors of neonatal hypoglycemia brain injury. Conclusion The incidence rate of neonatal hypoglycemia brain injury is still high. We should early monitor blood sugar of the newborn, timely deal with complications and carry out blood sugar intervention, in order to reduce the incidence rate of neonatal hypoglycemia brain injury.
