Abstract：At present, there is a lack of professional and technical personnel, a lack of unified standards and dynamic maintenance mechanism, and a lack of connotation and extension of statistical work in hospital statistics. In the new era of internet, hospital statistics is facing great opportunities and challenges. First of all, we should build a data center through the network data integration platform, carry out comprehensive statistics, provide a convenient way to extract and display statistical data, strengthen the ability of data to assist management and decision-making, and improve statistical efficiency. At the same time, it is necessary to set up a team of experts on statistical standards, set up a dynamic maintenance mechanism for statistical standards, maintain the unified and standardized use and update of statistical standards, and ensure the accurate mutual recognition and even sharing of statistical data. Secondly, statisticians should improve their comprehensive quality, pay attention to the ruling trends of the navigator and medical industry, shift their focus to data mining, and provide data support and advice for improving the economic and social benefits of hospitals. Finally, we should actively use the advanced theory and technology of statistics to participate in medical and health scientific research and regional health data analysis to provide the basis for the early detection and intervention of diseases, improve the health of the population, and deepen the connotation of hospital statistics.
