Abstract:Objective To provide a reference for local pre-hospital emergency management and resource allocation by analyzing the epidemiological characteristics of pre-hospital emergency cases in the sample area.Methods A retrospective analysis of all pre-hospital emergency cases was conducted in the emergency center in the sample area from August 1st, 2018 to July 31, 2019. Results Among 29,354 pre-hospital emergency cases, the male-female ratio was 1.59∶1, and the proportion of [50, 60) years old was the highest, with 16.52%. The mortality rate increased with age.The peak time of onset was January, March, May, June, July, August, and December, and the incidence was the lowest in February.The time period within one day [6∶00,9∶00) was the highest number of pre-hospital cases, [18∶00,21∶00) Second,[ 3∶00,6∶00) was the least.The longest time period for the total time of departure was [6∶00,9:00),which was 27.63 ±16.96 minutes.The type of disease was mainly traumatic, reaching47.96%. The cause of trauma was mainly traffic accident, which was 63.45%. Conclusion In the sample area, sufficient emergency resources should be provided during the peak hours of commuting, and the level of emergency treatment, especially the ability of trauma treatment, should be improved.
