Abstract:Objective To investigate the correlation of the incidence of hyperuricemia and age in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods Totally 100 patients with coronary artery disease who were admitted to our hospital between January 2015 and December 2017 were selected as study subjects. Complete data were included in the subjects and they were willing to cooperate with the study. Their clinical data were analyzed retrospectively and grouped according to their age. We compared the level of serum uric acid and the incidence of hyperuricemia in patients of different ages. Results According to age, they were divided into five groups, 30 years old and below group, 31 to 39 years old group, 40 to 49 years old group, 50 to 59 years old group, and 60 years old and above group. The results showed that the older the patients, the higher the blood uric acid level, with the difference significant (F=10.904, P<0.001). The higher the incidence of hyperuricemia was, the higher the difference was (r=0.986,t=10.353,P<0.001). Conclusion As the age of patients with coronary heart disease increases, the blood uric acid level also shows a significant increase, and the occurrence of hyperuricemia is also higher. The positive correlation trend between the incidence of hyperuricemia and age in patients with coronary heart disease can be seen, so Attention should be paid to the trend for clinical practice.
