Abstract:Objective To apply RSR method to analyze and evaluate the main medical indexes of clinical departments of a tertiary referral hospital in 2013 and 2014, and provide scientific basis for the management decisions of the hospital. Methods The basic data of the clinical departments of a tertiary referral hospital in 2013 and 2014 were collected to make up the comprehensive evaluation indexes. Excel was used to calculate the RSR score and the cumulative probability. SPSS 17.0 software was used to obtain regression equation and conduct sub-file rank test. Results The comprehensive evaluation of each clinical department could be divided into three grades, and there was statistical significance by SNK analysis (2013, F=60.757, P<0.001; 2014, F=67.034, P<0.001). The probit scores of departments such as department of obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and cardiovascular department of internal medicine were relatively high (7.326 3, 6.774 4, 6.425 5) in 2013, and the probit scores of departments such as department of obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics and cardiovascular department of internal medicine were relatively high (7.747 8, 6.786 6, 6.446 6) in 2014, which led to their higher work quality of medical treatment. The probit scores of departments such as infectious disease department and department of thoracic surgery (3.225 6, 3.574 5) in 2013 were relatively low, and the probit score of departments such as infectious disease department and department of thoracic surgery (3.213 4, 3.553 4) in 2014, which led to their lower work quality of medical treatment. Conclusion Using RSR comprehensive evaluation method and statistical software in hospital management can analyze the operation status of clinical departments accurately and quickly, and provide scientific basis for the management of hospital management.
