Abstract：Objective To research on the comprehensive evaluation of the medical quality of some tertiary coastal hospital from 2013 to 2018 to provide basis reference for comprehensive examination and scientific administration of the hospital.Methods Rank sum ratio (RSR) method was used for the selected eighteen indexes to evaluate comprehensively the medical quality in this hospital from 2013 to 2018.Results The overall medical quality of this hospital has been on the rise in the past six years. There was a significant difference in the RSR mean value of three different levels (P<0.05) by single factor analysis, and the comprehensive evaluation of the medical quality was the worst in 2014, and the best in 2018.Conclusion The result of the evaluation of the medical quality with rank sum ratio (RSR) method is scientific and straightforward for the coastal hospital, so RSR is suitable for the comprehensive evaluation of the medical quality of hospitals.
