Abstract:Objective To explore the prognosis and correlated influencing factors of acute poisoning, and to provide basis for raising therapeutic efficacy and improving prognosis. Methods Totally 660 acute poisoning patients were collected by Emergency Medicine Center of the First Hospital affiliated to Wenzhou Medical University from July 2009 to May 2015 and were divided into good prognosis group (n=482) and poor prognosis group (n=178) according to the prognosis turnover. The correlated influencing factors of prognosis were screened by single factor and multiple factors logistic regression method. Results There were 67.6% (446/660) acute pesticide poisoning in the 660 cases of acute poisoning patients, and there were 27.0%(178/660)existing poor prognosis. Multiple factors analysis results showed that these factors of moderate and severe poisoning (OR=2.444), complications (OR=8.120), and MEWS (OR=5.150) were the risk factors of poor prognosis, while compliance (OR=0.113) was the protective factor of poor prognosis. Conclusion Acute poisoning is mainly caused by acute pesticide poisoning, and there is a high death rate of prognosis. These factors such as moderate and severe poisoning, MEWS, complications and poor compliance of patients are the independent influencing factors of poor prognosis of acute poisoning patients.
