Abstract:Objective To analyze the cancer constitution ratio of 21 908 cases in a hospital from 2005 to 2014, and to and provide basis for clinical research disease control and prevention of the hospital. Methods A retrospective analysis of clinical data of hospitalized cancer patients a hospital from 2005 to 2014 was cunducted, and the number of patients, gender, age, tumor distribution types and death status were statistically analyzed. Results Number of hospitalized cancer patients significantly increased, and the average annual growth of the number of discharged patients was 14.90%. Of 21,908 cancer cases, there were 14 673 male cases and 7 235 female cases with the male/female ratio 2.03∶ 1. The most Patients were those aged 50 to 59, accounting for 25.57%, and patients aged 40 to 69 accounted for 68.18%. Liver cancer was the main disease, followed by lung cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, and stomach cancer. Malignant tumor mortality during the 10 years was 5.70%, and comparing the former half of the 10 years, matality rate decreased significantly during the latter half. Conclusion Cancer increased year by year, there was differences in sex, age, and type, and matality rate was high. So for high-risk groups, we should strengthen prevention and control work to ensure early detection and early treatment.
