Abstract：Objective The application of "statistical robot" in the field of hospital statistics is studied to reduce the burden and increase the efficiency of hospital statisticians. Methods Automation Anywhere is selected as the tool to configure the "statistical robot". According to the data collection, information summary, report printing, and reporting by the network direct reporting system in the statistical process of the hospital, regular steps and repetitive fields are screened out and a script is formed for automation by the "statistical robot". Results Statistical robot applied in hospital departments into the turn out data, daily business operations information summary, monthly print PDF statistics, COVID-19 outbreak during the network straight newspaper, and other statistical process, speeds up progress of the statistical work, implements the statistical homogeneity, avoids the statistics in the process of human error, and fully guarantees the continuity of statisticians' off-duty hours, especially during COVID-19 outbreaks. Conclusion "The "statistical robot" based on the robot process automation technology can greatly improve the statistical level of hospitals from the aspects of accuracy, timeliness and completeness, liberate statisticians from the manual operation of repetitive machinery, and focus on the mental work with high knowledge content, which is worthy of promotion in the field of health information.
