Abstract Objective To establish a digitalized medical area demonstration project of collaborated hospitals based on digital image IDC, taking the fourth affiliated hospital of Harbin medical university as the center. Methods Based on the collaborative research hospitals, the heterogeneous data were standardized to realize the sharing, exchange and interoperate. Results The collaboration based on IDC hospital networking made the images of city and county-level hospitals transmitted directly to the university′s data center, and these hospitals could directly view the diagnosis results, and read the image data stored in the medical image center through the web browser. Conclusion Information sharing brings convenience and benefits to patients, saves time for medical staff, and really solve the problem of difficulty of getting medical service and the high cost.
