Effectiveness evaluation analysis of comprehensive intervention on children with attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder |

Abstract Objective To explore the intervention effect of comprehensive intervention on children with attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Methods Eighty children with ADHD were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, 40 cases respectively. The control group was given Ritalin treatment and usual care, and the observation group was added comprehensive intervention measures on the basis of the treatment in the control group. After 3 months of intervention, these indexes such as behavior scores, sustained attention and total effective rate of treatment were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the scores of behavior, learning, anxiety and impulsive hyperactivity in the observation group were much lower than those in the control group (P<0.01). The total effective rate of improvement of sustained attention in the observation group was 87.5%, much higher than that in the control group (42.5%, P<0.01). And the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was 92.5%, higher than that in the control group (70.0%, P<0.05). Conclusion Carrying out comprehensive intervention measures could obviously improve behaviors of children with ADHD, raise sustained attention, and increase therapeutic efficacy. So it deserves promotion in clinical practice.
