山东省某三级甲等医院2010—2014年住院死亡病例分析

Abstract Objective To explore the main cause and distribution pattern of death cases in a tertiary level hospital from 2010 to 2014. Methods The basic information of death cases in hospital from 2010 to 2014 were collected from the hospital information system. The causes of death were classified by ICD-10. Excel and SPSS 17.0 statistics software were used to analyze the data. Results The mortality of hospital patients showed a downward trend in recent five years. The mortality of man was higher than woman significantly. Tumor and circulation system disease were in the front rank of death causes sequence. Lung cancer was the first major tumor threatening the health of inpatients. Conclusion We should strengthen the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of the disease to reduce the incidence and mortality of disease and in turn to improve the health level and quality of life.
