Abstract:Objective To explore the curative effect of escitalopram combinated with group psychotherapy on anxiety disorderof type 2 diabetes patients. Methods Sixty-four type 2 diabetes patients with anxiety disorder were randomly divided into two groups, the first group was only given escitalopram, and the second group was added group psychotherapy. SCL-90 was used to evaluate anxiety-depression symptoms and the improvement, and these indexes of FPG, 2hPG, HbA1c FINS and HOMA-IR were used to evaluate glycometabolism and insulin resistance. Results Before treatment, there was no statistical significance between the control group and the combination group about different factors scores and total score (P>0.05). After treatment, different factor scores and total score in the combination group were much lower than the control group (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no statistical significance between the control group and the combination group about blood sugar and blood lipid indexes (P>0.05). After treatment, the indexes of 2hPG, HbA1c, FINS and HOMA-IR in the combination group were much lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Escitalopram combined with group psychotherapy on anxiety disorder of type 2 diabetes patients could effectively cut down postprandial blood glucose level and improve anxiety-depression emotion.
