Analysis of skin disease in the South China Sea island-stationed personnel from July to December 2018 |

Abstract Objective To understand the population distribution, time distribution and disease characteristics of dermatosis among the South China Sea personnel stationed on the island, so as to provide reference for improving the level of dermatosis protection and medical services. Methods Based on the outpatient records of a certain island hospital from July to December 2018, the age composition, time distribution characteristics and disease types of patients with skin diseases were described, and the corresponding relationship between disease and time and age was analyzed. Results Through data analysis, it was found that during the period from July to December of 2018, the dermatological patients seeking medical treatment mainly suffered from dermatitis, eczema and mycosis, among which the peak of medical treatment occurred in August and November, and the time distribution and age distribution of different diseases were also different Conclusion The characteristics of dermatosis patients on the island are obvious, which is mainly caused by the climatic conditions of high temperature, high humidity and high salt, so targeted health protection and guidance should be provided by season and age group to effectively improve the health of personnel.
