The influence factors on cognitive impairment of male methamphetamine addicts during withdrawal |

Abstract Objective To investigate the influence factors on cognitive impairment of male methamphetamine addicts during withdrawal.Methods A total of 421 male methamphetamine addicts were investigated. The self-designed questionnaire,SAS,SDS,MoCA were used.Results 249 methamphetamine addicts had cognitive impairment in this study.Binary logistic regression analysis indicated that methamphetamine addicts’age,education, depression on cognitive impairment was significant during withdrawal.Conclusion Methamphetamine addicts with older age,lower education,and depressive symptom are more likely to suffer cognitive impairment.Intervention should be implemented for male methamphetamine addicts of differents ages and education to alleviate the symptoms of depression and reduce cognitive impairment.
