Expression and clinical significance of JAK1 in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma |

Abstract Objective To detect the expression of Tyrosine kinase1(JAK1) in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and analyze its correlation with clinicopathological features, in order to explore the clinical significance of JAK1.Methods The expression of mRNA and protein of JAK1 in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and adjacent tissues was detected by Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) and Western-blot (Western blotting), the expression of mRNA and protein in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma and paracancerous tissues was detected by immunohistochemical method, and the relationship between the expression and clinicopathological features was analyzed according to the method of immunohistochemical score.Results The expression of JAK1 in mRNA in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissues, P<0.05; the expression of JAK1 in protein in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissues, P<0.05; the results of immunohistochemical showed the expression of JAK1 in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma was related to the degree of differentiation, clinicopathological stage and lymph node metastasis, P<0.05.Conclusion The increased expression of JAK1in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma plays an important role in the occurrence, development and metastasis of laryngeal carcinoma.
