Abstract CD4+ T cells are a kind of immune cells that play an important role in the immune response, which can be differentiated into Th1, Th2, Th17, Treg and other cell subsets after being activated. Th17 cells are new subtype of CD4+ effector T cells and play important roles in host defense against various pathogens and inflammatory pathogenesis. PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway can regulate cell metabolism, proliferation, differentiation, survival and other life processes, meanwhile, participate in the occurrence of tumors and autoimmune diseases. This review concentrated on the research progress in the regulation of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway on Th17 cells.
