Study on risk factors and rules of lymph node metastasis in non-small cell lung cancer with a diameter of ≤3 cm |

Abstract Objective To explore the risk factors and rules of lymph node metastasis in non-small cell lung cancer with a diameter of ≤3 cm, and to provide a theoretical basis for surgical lymph node removal.Methods Data of 526 cases of non-small cell lung cancer with a diameter of≤3 cm were collected in the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Binzhou Medical University Hospital from January 2010 to July 2020, andchi-squaretest and logistic regression were used to analyze the risk factors of lymph node metastasis. Results Single factor and multiple factor analysis show the pathological type of tumor, tumor diameter, serum CEA, vascular tumor thrombus, and visceral pleura invasion are risk factors for lymph node metastasis, with P<0.05.Conclusion For non-small cell lung cancer ≤3 cm in diameter,the pathological type of tumor, tumor diameter, serum CEA, vascular tumor thrombus, visceral pleura invasion are importantly related to lymph node metastasis, and when the above risk factors are present, surgery requires systematic lymph node dissection.
