Dicer expression in visceral white adipose tissue of obese hypertension patients |

Abstract Objective To investigate the expression of Dicer in visceral white adipose tissue of hypertension patients. Methods The visceral white adipose tissues from 314 patients who underwent elective abdominal surgery in our hospital were collected to detect the expression of Dicer by quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR). And their clinical pathological data including age, height, weight and arterial blood pressure were collected for correlation analysis. Results Compared with the patients between 31 and 40 years old, the expression level of Dicer mRNA in visceral white adipose tissue of patients between 41 and 50 years old, between 51 and 60 years old, more than 60 years old increased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); compared with the patients between 41 and 50 years old, the expression level of Dicer mRNA in visceral white adipose tissue of patients more than 60 years old increased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); compared with the patients between 51 and 60 years old, the expression level of Dicer mRNA in visceral white adipose tissue of patients more than 60 years old increased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). In the patients more than 60 years old, compared with the patients of normal blood pressure, the expression level of Dicer mRNA in visceral white adipose tissue of patients with hypertensive decreased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). In the patients less than 60 years old, compared with the patients of normal blood pressure and weight, the expression level of Dicer mRNA in visceral white adipose tissue of patients with simple hypertension and obesity hypertension decreased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); compared with the patients with simple hypertension, the expression level of Dicer mRNA in visceral white adipose tissue of patients with obesity hypertensive decreased, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The decreased expression of Dicer mRNA in the visceral white fat tissue was involved in occurrence and development of hypertension, especially obese hypertension.
