Investigation on the epidemic-situation of high-risk population with sheep Brucellosis |

Abstract Objective To find out the prevalence and trend of brucellosis among high-risk population in Zhanhua District, and to provide scientific basis for prevention and control of brucellosis.Methods The antibody detection and diagnosis of brucellosis were carried out among the high-risk population in Zhanhua District from 2015 to 2017.Results Totally 1232 people at high risk of brucellosis were investigated in Zhanhua District,and the average positive rate of brucellosis antibody was 13.39%.The highest positive rate of Brucellosis antibody was 15.98% in 2017.And the difference of the positive rates of 2015 and 2016 was statistically significant (χ2=5.80 P<0.05).The difference of positive rates of 2015 and 2017 was statistically significant(χ2=8.93 P<0.05).The positive rate of antibody was 14.19% in the group of 21 to 70 years old and 5.26% in the age group of over 71 years old. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(χ2=14.16,P<0.05).The positive rate of brucella antibody in males was 16.48% and that in females was 8.64%.The difference was statistically significant (χ2=15.62,P<0.05). Conclusion In the past three years,the positive rate of brucellosis antibody in high-risk population in Zhanhua District has been on the rise.The propaganda and education of brucellosis should be carried out by Disease Control Center and Animal Husbandry Bureau to improve the awareness of self-protection and reduce the infection rate of the population,so as to eliminate brucellosis.
