The clinical application of low-dose MSCT scan in the review of solitary pulmonary nodules |

Abstract Objective To explore the application value of low mAs combined with adaptive statistical iterative reconstruction (ASIR) technique in the review of solitary pulmonary nodules (SPN).Methods 86 cases of patients with solitary pulmonary nodules were regularly followed up after 3 months, respectively for low mAs combined with ASIR of low dose scanning and routine scanning, the nodule size,radiation doses were compared between the two groups.Results The image quality score of low dose group was lower than that of the conventional group,but was no of statistically significant difference of qualified rate between them,the two groups of images could be found solitary pulmonary nodule s sensitive. There was no significant difference of the size of the lesions between the two groups. Two groups of CTDIvol, DLP had significant difference.Conclusion Low mAs combined with ASIR technique can reduce the radiation dose,which doesn't affect the detection and display of solitary pulmonary nodules,and have some clinical significance.
