Abstract Alzheimer′s disease (AD) is an insidious and progressive neurodegenerative disease that is the most common cause of dementia. MRI mainly includes structural MRI, diffusion tensor imaging, magnetic resonance spectroscopy and Arterial spin labeling magnetic resonance imaging. The combination of structural magnetic resonance imaging and functional imaging can more effectively analyze the macroscopic and microscopic changes of the brain and find out the relationship between structural changes and functional changes, which is crucial for understanding the neuropathological mechanism and clinical diagnosis of AD, so as to further provide theoretical basis for clinical treatment.
