Changes and clinical significance of four plasma coagulation levels in patients with breast cancer |

Abstract Objective To investigate the relationship between the changes of plasma prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), thrombin time (TT), fibrinogen (FIB) and breast benign tumor, pathological type and distant lymph node metastasis in patients with breast cancer, so as to evaluate the condition and prognosis of patients with breast cancer.Methods One hundred patients with breast cancer were selected as the experimental group and 100 patients with benign breast tumor treated in the same period as the control group. The levels of four items of plasma coagulation were detected and compared between the two groups before the treatment, as well as the changes of different pathological types and distant metastasis in patients with breast cancer.Results The level of plasma TT in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group, with P<0.05, but there was no significant difference in PT, APTT and FIB. In addition, there was no significant difference in four coagulation levels among breast cancer patients with different pathological types and with or without distant lymph node metastasis.Conclusion The level of TT in patients with breast cancer is significantly higher than that in patients with benign breast tumor. Monitoring the level of plasma TT in patients with breast cancer is helpful to better evaluate the condition and prognosis of patients with breast cancer.
