Abstract Objective To investigate the chemical constituents of sponge Aaptos Suberitodes.Methods The compounds were isolated and purified by TLC, Sephadex LH-20 column, sillica gel column chromatography and semi-preparative HPLC. Their chemical structures were identified by NMR, MS and comparison with the data of literatures. Results From the CH3OH extract of Aaptos suberitoides, seven compounds were isolated and their structures were determined as 3-(methylamino)demethyl(oxy)aaptamnie, aaptamine, uracil, thymine, cyclo(Pro-Ser), cyclo(Pro-Thr) and thymine nuleoside.Conclusion Aaptamine, cyclo(Pro-Ser) and cyclo(Pro-Thr) were isolated from the genus Aaptos for the first time.
