Effect of reduning injection on mycoplasma pneumonia in children and on IFN-γ, TNF - α and IL-6 |

Abstract Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of reduning Injection in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia (MPP) in children and the level of IFN-γ, TNF-α and IL-6 in serum.Methods One hundred and twenty children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia hospitalized in the second ward of Pediatrics, Yidu Central Hospital of Weifang from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects. They were randomly divided into the control group (odd numbers as the control group) with 56 cases and the reduning group with 64 cases (even numbers as the reduning group). The control group was given conventional treatment; the reduning group was additionally given reduning 0.5ml/kg.d intravenous drip besides conventional treatment, with the maximum amount of 20 ml daily for 1 week. The clinical manifestations, therapeutic effects and serum inflammatory factors such as IL-6, TNF - α, IFN-γ before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The two groups were cured after active treatment, but the length of hospital stay was different. The results showed that the fever subsided time, cough disappearance time, rales disappearance time and hospitalization days in reduning group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); the effective rate of reduning group was significantly better than that of control group; after 1 week of treatment, the level of IL-6 in reduning group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). After 2 weeks of treatment, the levels of IL-6, TNF - α and IFN-γ in reduning group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). There were few adverse reactions in the two groups.Conclusion Reduning can effectively improve the clinical manifestations of MPP, inhibit the expression of IL-6, TNF - α, IFN-γ and other inflammatory factors, so as to improve the effective rate of MPP treatment. Reduning is safe, efficient and has less adverse reactions, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
