Investigation on the current situation of cross-specialty learning attitude of on-the-job postgraduate students in nursing and analysis of influencing factors |

Abstract Objective To understand the cross-disciplinary learning attitude and influencing factors of on-the-job nursing postgraduates, and to provide reference for the development of cross-disciplinary education among on-the-job nursing postgraduates. Methods The general information questionnaire and the Chinese version of the preparation for cross professional cooperative learning questionnaire were used to investigate on-the-job nursing postgraduates in Shandong Province. Results The total score of cross-disciplinary cooperative learning readiness scale for on-the-job nursing postgraduates was (81.74±7.63), which was at a high level. According to the classification of professional titles, there were statistically significant differences (P<0.05) in the scores of cross-disciplinary cooperative learning readiness scale for on-the-job nursing postgraduates with different professional titles. According to the classification of departments, there were statistically significant differences in the scores of cross-disciplinary cooperative learning readiness scale for on-the-job nursing students in different departments (P<0.05). Conclusion Cross major learning attitude of on-the-job nursing postgraduates is good, they have high team spirit and professional identity, and can correct understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Nursing management and educators should pay attention to the importance of cross major learning, constantly improve professional collaboration ability of on-the-job nursing postgraduates, thus improve the quality of nursing service level, and provide better service for patients.
